    broken bottom screen

The bottom screen on my dsi xl will not calibrate, certain parts of the screen are non responsive and it's making playing certain games very difficult.
I have done the basics and tried to remove dust from the edges but it still hasn't helped.
my next step is to have it repaired, ( i'm not very good at taking things apart ) has anybody used consoledoctor.co.uk who are in newcastle, they will charge ?35 to fix the problem and that includes all postage costs, sounds a bit to good to be true.
I thought I'd ask here first to find out if anyone else has used them, or is there anyone that can be recommend me someone else
    thanks
    bb

    you should try it yourself.

all you need is a tri-wing scew driver
    triwing screw driver | eBay

    a replacement touchscreen
DSi XL Replacement Touch Screen - Original OEM | eBay

    and a bit of patience.

there are loads of tutorial video's on you-tube.
