Card problem on 3DS with V3.0.0-7 update

Hope someone can help, I have an R4i Gold Upgrade card which has Http://WWW.R4I-GOLD.HK on it.

All worked fine on 3DS until the 3DS was updated to V3.0.0-7 and now I can't get it to work. Is there a fix for this or do I need a new card, if so which card would work with 3.0.0-7?

I had previously been told that I would need to do something to the card with a DSi but I cannot find any information on what I need to do.

Wow...i have to say, this is a clone r4i gold card. The genuine r4i gold 3ds is from r4ids.cn not the link you post. But i found your card can work on v3.0.0-6..

btw, the newest 3ds firmware is v3.0.0-6, so did you mistake the version? If you need update your card to support the v3.0.0-6, just download the update package:
R4i-GOLD Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS
use a ds or dsi to update your card.

Aha, really confused. r4ids.cn is oldest and its quality is better, r4i-gold.eu is popular now, and r4ids.com is new and it is more welcomed by players. All of these r4i cards are cloned. But these cards can save a lot of money for us and support us to play most of NDS games.

Thanks for your reply, yes I must have been mistaken it is v3.0.0-6.

I have the update package from the link provided but I don't understand what I need to do with a ds or dsi to update my card, could you explain step by step - this is the first time I have had to do this.

1: copy the two files from the update package on your sd card (select copy/replace when prompted)

2: put r4 card+sdcard into an older 3ds or dsi (you cannot do update in your current console as the card is already blocked from running in it)

3: strat the card up and look for the update file.
(it is called 3ds.0.5.nds so will probably show up in your game menu), run it and follow instructions.
