    can't get R4 3DS card to work on a DSi 1.4.4...e

im having problems getting a new R4 3DS card working on a DSi 1.4.4e

I've put the all the files on the 4gig micro SD card,
put the R4 card in the DS and i get the splash screen which says
www.R4I-SDHC.COM and underneath that it says loading and in red writing through 'loading' it says Please upgrade the hardware for support latest firmware. ive checked the web but i cant seam to find a definitive answer.
i've also tried the R4 card in a DSi XL 1.4.1e and i get the same thing...
    can anyone help???

    cheers

what files have you got on your micro sd card?

did you reformat it before loading the firmware?

have you had the card working before or is it new?

what exactly is printed on card? post a picture if possible..

well i dont know what to suggest .

you have done everything right... (i take it the 4 files/folders are on root of sd card and not in a parent folder?)

the red menu message means that the card cannot find or read the firmware.

        ususal causes for this are:

        1. incorrect firmware or wrong firmware.
        2. faulty sd card.
        3. faulty r4 card itslef or contact problem between r4 card and microsd card.

all i can suggest reallly is rying a diffrent sd card...

will need to put card into a ds with firmware less than 1.4.4 to update i.e ds lite or something

Had a similar problem a while back, I had to change the date on the DS back a couple of years, might be worth a try.
                Good luck

                      Your R4 3DS card is the R4i-SDHC 3DS?
Format your SD card, then download the 1.56b kernel again.
If R4I-SDHC 3DS still do not work, perhaps you have bought a bad card.
