Confused MUM DS + DSI R$ and Evolution Cards

Hi, I have spent the best part of a week trying to resolve this from threads but Im still getting nowhere so Im asking for help...please

My sons have a ds lite and new dsi. We have a cyclo ds evolution card and 2 R4i3D cards.

One R4i3D will work on both dslite and dsi
One R4i3D card will not work on either (but the micro SD will work when put in another card)
The Evolution will work in the DS Lite but not the DSi

We have misplaced the card that works on both so now we have no card that will work on the dsi :-(

I have tried blowing, inserting paper, etc.

Sounds like the dsi had been updated. Check the version number on the ds and see if the dsi is higher. If it is that's probably why they won't work. Best thing you can do is post the version numbers and someone will be able to tell you if the cards can be updated to run the newer version.
