3ds or dsi

hi guys my sons old ds has given up so have decided to buy him another but not sure which one to go for the dsi or the 3ds
his old ds had the r4 card so would still like to use that if i could any ideas guys ?

I'd recommend you to wait for the 3DS XL version. The original one has really small displays or buy 3DS because it's price is now quite attractive (compared to the launch price).
