ok im not complete noobie but my daughter has a got 3ds and she love playing sonic superstar racing and we cant get it so she can go online as we keep getting this message "the access point's security settings are not supported by the nintendo ds" can somebody direct me or give me the idiots guide as i try to follow advanced and nearly buggered up my router please help thanks in advance

hi,nrsjbor,found this on another site (99% of the time this error means that the network that you are connecting to is secured using WPA encryption. (the padlock icon next to the SSID name will be locked and a gray color). The Nintendo DS is not compatible with this type of security which is why you aren't able to connect.
There are two solutions to fix this. Either change your network security from WPA to WEP encryption or to just disable your network security completely. In order to change the security settings you would have to log on to your router from your desktop computer and change the settings from there.)hope this helps
