R4i Revolution flashcard not working on DSIxl

Hi, can anyone help with this problem please?

A m8 of mine has upgraded his DSIxl to s/w v1.4.4E, and then of course his r4i card stopped workiing!

His card is the same as the silver one at the bit where it says kernel download (silver one)

After messing about using several kernels for the card, he used the UPGRADE FIRMWARE PACKAGE HERE link on the very same page to upgrade the R4 card. And now it won't work on the DSIxl.

Anyone any ideas? I have access to an original DS, a DSi (with the same s/w version as the xl) should I need it.

Normally I'm fairly good at sorting this kinda thing, but this one has me lost. Lol.

try putting the r4 card in an older ds and go to config option and update it that way to new kernel, it should then work in ya xl
