DSi v1.2E using AceKard 2i "An error has occurred"

    Hi all,

Anyone able to help, DSi no longer detecting AceKard menu from, instead just getting a Black Square Frame on the main menu of the DSi.

When I click on it, I;m getting AN error has occurred, Press and hold the Power button to turn the system off.

The microSD card in the R2i is ok and reads well in a PC.
I've reformatted the microSD and still no joy. Even tried s system reset and just get the frame frame where the AK2i menu was.

Any suggestions? Is the AK 2i goosed?

Sounds silly but blow in the cart slot on the dsi a lot. If there is any dust in there on the contacts the acekard won't read

Thanks for your replies, I can't remember the exact Icon I had before, but I think it was blue with AK 2i or something to that affect drawn on it.

The icon now is just a black bordered frame. As soon as I click on it, I get the error.

I've tried blowing on the contacts, but no joy.
If I remove the AK2i, the DSi shows that it is not inserted, when i put it back in the black border icon comes up.

It has previously working fine, i've never updated my DSi firmware and has always been 1.2E, and I havn't updated the AK2i software either, so something has gone wrong somewhere.

        Anything else I can try?

The acekard icon is the earliest firmware, do you have an old dslite you can test tje card in?

afraid not, don't have a DS Lite.

Anything else I can try? Do you think its a firmware issue?
But if the DSI firmware has been the same since purchase, why would the Ak 2i suddenly stop working?

As mentioned above the DSI is on Version 1.2E (never been updated) since had it and worked fine with AK 2i until recently.
