need help fixing dsi r4 card

can any one help me my sons r4 dsi was not uploading pics to facebook so it was sayin i had to update my system so i did to .6.6 now my sons r4 card wont go keeps saying erorr can any one help me fix it or if i got a new one do u think it will work cheers.
