r4i 3ds

HI bought my son a r4i 3ds card which was working fine, but he has just brought it to me because he can't load game or r4 software.

he is getting message

an error has occurd prss and hold down the power button to turn the system off. refer to operations manual for details.

does any one know what hes done

has he maybe updated the 3ds firmware?

1: 3ds firmware version.

switch on the 3ds and go into settings (spanner icon).

the firmware version will be display on one of the screens. will say "ver.4.3" or summit like that.

ps you do not need a card in console to check this.

post a picture of the card if you can, if not post as much detail as possible, including web address..

ah,

ver 4.5.0-10e is the latest 3ds firmware, your card cannot run on that and there is no fix as yet....

tells you on the cards website..
