Acekard 2i Help

I have just brought a re-furbed DSL, i have a Acekard 2i card. I have followed all instructions on how to set up the card (formatted SD with tool, installed 1.9 on root, etc)

But my DSL does not find anything when the Acekard is inserted, just says no card is inserted. It works fine with original carts. Can anyone help please?

can only be 2 things.

1: bad contacts, acekards were famous for this.

2> faulty card, the console should detect the card wether you have correct firmware or not..
