r4 card not working after i updated the dsi console

hi i updated my sons dsi console via wifi and now no r4 card works on it, it keeps saying system error, the icon is still there.
i have various r4 cards which work on other consoles please help...

what kind of error message are you having? I?ve got a message "no menu" and i?m searching a lot for it...i?ve downloaded a new firmware but it seems that nothing can be read..

Same here. Got a message that i needed to upgrade firmware to play a game. After the upgrade it says an error has occured Press and hold the POWER button to turn the system of.

r4 card for dsi v1.4.5

your r4 card must be old version, which is locked by new dsi v1.4.5 system. You can find the official website, and download a patch to upgrade the card. If it is not available, you can only buy a new r4 card.
