r4 8gb compatibility

Hi guys, hope this doesn't make me look as thick as I feel at the mo..

Is the R4 compatible with an 8gb micro or not? I'm on 1.18 and that's working fine with 2gb..can't get the 8gb to play ball tho'. Somebody out there mst be able to put me straight. Thanks in advance....H

ye u can put mostly any size in and it should still run i have an 8gb one and it is running smoothly

Ta but apparently 8gb & above only work on r4 upgrades

Believe 2gb is the max on standard R$ cards

updates for R4

Currently have original R4 cards which only can take up to 2gig micro sd but found a site called *w*,r4ds,cn which has updates an upgrades might be worth a try but back up beforehand...
