download of games to R4 help

    Hi All,
I bouhjt an R4 for my son and have recently managed to download the software required to get the R4 memory card ready for games, after many many hours on the internet.
But i am now having trouble to download a game e.g new mario bros, do i save this to desk top or in the winrar file or where do i save it to, i have already tried and then drag and drop the game file to the R4 memory card but it still does not work.
I feel that i am so near but so far to sorting this out.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Just unpack the .rar file and drag and drop the .nds file into the root of the memory card. It should work from there.
