DSi Firmware download

Please help, daughters birthday rapidly approaching, I have bought a DSi it appears to have version 1.2e on it. I have also bought a R4i card, the box it came in is black, not red, can anyone point me in the right direction where I can down the right firmware for this card. the card was originally bought from memory bits, I have followed the link from them, but when I put the card in the console the screen just stops on "LOADING"

any help would be greatly appreciated.

With that file do I just extract it to the root of the micro SD?

just got 3 r4i sdhc v1.4 cards for my kids dsi,s and cant get them to work.have downloaded the latest firmware but keep getting "menu" error message .any ideas?

I have a DSi with 1.4e firmware and have the same problem did this fix it

R4i Not Working

I have to dsi's one works fine on 1.4 but the other dsi doesn't even show the r4i card when it is in i will try the download maybe it will work??

check which version dsi you you have.
if your dsi is on version 1.4.1 then your r4i card will not work...

R4i and ver 1.4.1A

Hi All.
I have 4 x R4i's for my kids and today they asked me to connect them to the internet. As part of this the DSi was prompted to upgrade its firmware. That was I big mistake.

Their R4i's no longer work with Ver1.4.1A.

Can anyone please help???

to the best of my knowledge, there is no fix for the r4i cards yet

don't understand why take so long for those with r4i ver1.4 to be working with 1.41E again almost waiting for ages....Kiddies are crying for helppppppppp!

you might be waiting longer than u think....
can't see a fix coming out at all for current cards.

luckily i got A2i with me spare..now it alive again...got screwed no more R4i for me till end of life...haha

r4i card fix

Go to the official r4i website they have a fix for the r4i cards and 1.4.1e firmware just download it. Hope it works for you but did;t work for me I have a dsi. and tried the fix to no avail.

does anyone know if this will work for dstti too? and how exactly do you restore the firmware? i get an error trying to run the dstti on the dsi
