I have an R4i upgrade SDHC revolution red box... DS Happy box
Trying to find the right firmware to get it to work on the DSi XL is a nightmare !!

Does anyone know the right firmware and how to get it to work on the DSi XL ?

Hi I just bought a R4i card GE games engine R4i Upgrade V1.4 for my DSi what firmware do i need and can i play videos and music on this as well ?? someone told me i have to download a separate moonshell ext for this is true ?

set date back 6 months

Tried the firmware here...

Digital Kaos - Downloads - Firmware V3.10

but it doesn't seem to be available now. Can anyone help please?

there should be a web address on your card , there should be a link to the latest software for your card there..

Yeah, but it was last updated 2 years ago, and now I'm having problems getting the games my son wants to run properly.

i'm not sure about your particular r4 card, but there is a new unofficial firmware for r4 cards called "woods" firmware.
you can find it here
back up your sd card then give it a go.
works on my r4 card, but i think there is diffrent types.

if its an r4 card you have, then woods firmware would be best.
here is a link to a site with guide on which cards it will work on and how to do it.
note r4 cards dont work on dsi's
