Ive got The R4 GE Upgrade and it worked and suddenly broke on the start up showing an error messege of date or something - googles no help and neither is r4i-sdhc.com

ok, Im at a loss now......

Trying to update R4 card, cant find any website addy on it, nor do we have any box it came with!

All I can tell u is that it is a black card with a silver n black sticker on it saying

R4 SD
HC
revolution for DS
(NDSL/NDS)

which firmware do I need for this, can anyone help?
daughter in law driving me crazy because she wants to play the new professor layton game on it!

you can only use that card on ds and dslite.
it will not work o dsi.

put the latest woods firmware on it and it will play almost any games
woods 1.15

download the file,
extract to your sd card and add games \;0

Get the feeling I bought a dud

I recently bought an R4 Card from NDS Gear.com. Specifically, this one...Buy R4 | R4 SDHC | R4SDHC | NDS-Gear - The U.K. DS Card Experts

I'm starting to think maybe I bought the wrong card. I'll admit I'm a little newb when it comes to this stuff but with all the talk of clones and bad cards I'm not sure if I screwed up.

The card is an R4 SDHC that's gold in color and has the following website on the front: www.r4sdhc.com

The games have worked flawlessly but I don't think the card supports saved games. I keep creating saves for Metroid Prime Hunters and New Super Mario Brother along with other titles and my saved games are never recognized. The .SAV files are on the card though. Has anyone else experienced this problem?? I tried a reformatting ( the non quick one ) FAT 32 with no luck.

sorry, cant post pic, its in daughter in laws!
I do know that there are no files on the sd card tho, when she bought it, it didnt come with a sd card, so I have had to try and start from scratch with it!

I said it was black originally, but realised now, its like a very dark grey with the black and silver sticker on it.

Am begining to wonder if its a fake R4 she got?!!!

that means it cant find the system files on your sd card.
without actually seeing the card, i can find the firmware..
is it this one ?
