the one we have looks exactly the same as the pic............with a 2gb card with it.

we didnt get the card with it, just the R4 card, so we have got to try and start from scratch installing the firmware.....but so far, everything that has been recommended, has not worked, and just brings black screen saying loading on the ds when its turned on.

the latest firmware for your card in unofficial 1.17a13 , there has been no official updates for your card for over a year....

tht card is a clone, the firmware is difficult to find,
all r4 firmware can be found at the following link.
i'm afraid it is just a matter of trial and error......
try the firmwares that match your card the most closly....

what exactly does it say on the front?
and can u list the system files you have on your sd card at the moment?

it was originally patched for acecard, so i don't know if it will work on dstt card.

R4i Pocket

Hi, I have rceived an R4i Pocket today, to use with my DSi, which is v1.4, and I have followed the instructions from the website I bought it from, and they didn't work. The main link on the product page is a dead link, and I managed to find a Dutch page with the kernel, and have got it to work on my DSLite. But this doesn't help for the purpose of the DSi.
Can anyone point me to the correct firmware upgrade for this? Please?

Have a card which is marked R4 ge Games Engine, Upgrade, Revolution for DS, (NDSL/NDS), R4i SDHC Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS, grey in colour. Back of card has a silver sticker with Truth Enquiry, number printed under sticker.

Does anyone know of the correct software for this one, tried at least 10 different versions last night with no joy.

I am getting a Menu ? for all softwares tried. Using a 4gb Micro SD inside, formatting card each time before putting on software.

Tried the R4i SDHC Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS website, all available softwares no go.

Tried www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds, with no joy.

Any help in getting me going is appreciated as at this stage I am thinking it must be a dud card ?

it may be an original r4 card.
in which case you will need a 2 gig sd card, 4 gig cards dont work
try a 2 gig sd card with woods firmware.

i have bought an r4 card came in gold box with red writing on front which is the same as sticker the web address on card is Welcom R4SDHC.COM -Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS and has v2.10t on it have tried several diff kernels but none appear to work can you advise

Hey guy's, got my m8s r4i card, gold sticker on, V1.4, (dsi,dsl,nds ) xxx.r4ita.com. His kid can't play games any more on her dsi, don't know what happened to it. Dsi is on 1.4e. Can this be fixed, f/w ?.
