Hi, I am looking for firmware to update my r4i gold card v1.4, bought around Jan 09, web address on the card ***.r4igold.cn I am unable to use the firmware on the site v1.4.1, in fact I have been advised not to use it, site stated that I should use v1.16b firmware, but it won't let me download the file, can you help please.

the latest firmware for your card in unofficial 1.17a13 , there has been no official updates for your card for over a year....

tht card is a clone, the firmware is difficult to find,
all r4 firmware can be found at the following link.
i'm afraid it is just a matter of trial and error......
try the firmwares that match your card the most closly....

1. which r4 card do you have?

2. where did you buy it? do you have a link?

3. which firmware are you running?

4. which ds ado you have (dslite/dsi

5 which firmware is your console on?

thesse details are important.
it is almost impossible to give advice without this info...

I know this may be old...but I have an R4 ge(games engine) upgrade Revolution fpr DS (NDSL/NDS) www.R4I-SDHC.com. On the back there is a authenticity sticker, I assume, that says Truth Inquiry......

I too have tried every firmware. Any ideas to get rid of the red menu ?...please help.
