I got the card from a friend and I have no...NO firmware. I got a new 2gb mini sd card. Brand new nothing on it. need to know the firmware and the file structuring to install.

My card
This is EXACTLY what my card looks like.
1.I am using it on a DS lite
2. Im using a SanDisk 2GB
3. DS lite model USG-001
Not sure what else to explain....It has no..NO firmware nor file structure in the SD card, as it's on I had in my house. I got the R4 card only. Anything you can do to help I would appreciate it.Comment

try this:
1. format sd card using formatting tool.
2.download firmware.
r4i-sdhc_R4_v1.09b_English.rar
3. extract the firmware, open the folder and copy the four files/folders to root of sd card.
5. add an old game like super mario or summit for testing.
your sd card should look like this.
sd card.jpg
6. put your time and date back to jan 2009.
see if that works....
i'm not sure if that is the corrrect firmware, but i think its the most likley....
lets us know how you get on...

Half way there....
Ok...It booted up with what you said. Only problem is I dont get passed the:

ok, try the same again wiith this one...

the problem with your card is that it is not supported anymore.
therefore newer games won't work on it.
as you are using a dslite and a 2gig sd card, you could buy an original r4 card now for next to nothing and put woods firmware on.
using you 2gig card and dslite it will play almost all games.

On my card it says NDSL R4 revolution 3 for ds.

Not sure howq old this is but when you get the date message you do have to just take the date of your ds back a couple years and itll work, i am searching here for an upgrade or a fix, which is y im posting this nowComment
