R4i deluxe error message?

Hi guys

Would appreciate we could shed some light on this new card I have just bought for my 3DS xl on Ver 6.2.0

I have put across exactly the 2 files onto the micro sd card the kernel (launcher.dat) firmware onto the SD but when I load up the 3DSsetup then go into system settings then open up Nintendo DS Profile I get the error message saying "An error has occurred forcing the software to shutdown" so im now unsure that I have put the correct firmware and wood file across? or perhaps I may need a patch to suit my version?

Heres the files I used:


Wood_R4iGold_V1.64
R4iGold_Deluxe Firmware 4.0B2

then roms onto separate card.

Any help much appreciated guys!!

Just been reading on here regarding this and apparently the firmware only supports upto 4.5? the firmware on my 3DS is 6.2.0?

But im not sure if you can now get a patch to install to get around this?

Anybody got any suggestions for me please.................pretty please!!

no, the card can't support 3ds firmware higher than 4.5. Buy other card, Gateway and Sky3ds both are good choices, read the post here http://sky-3ds.com/blog/sky3ds-blue-...r-for-new-3ds/.
