New 3ds XL advice folks

the he brats are pestering me for a 3ds from Santa this year, before I dig deep thought I'd gather some info first.

Im considering the 3ds xl


Can Homebrew type stuff be run in these?

Any other good mods / mem cards to buy for them?


and I can't believe they don't come with a charger, what's that all about!!!

There are a few methods to playing backups.Either by gateway card or modding the 3ds yourself.You should check what firmware your 3ds needs to be on for what ever method you ch?ose.Google 3ds emuNAND
