R4 vs R4 upgrade newbie question

Hi there.

My daughter just received one nintendo Ds. After that i've search the internet for a solution like i did to my Wii.

I bought a R4 card but when received it, i noticed that this is a R4 Upgrade. any differences? it's a clone? worst quality?

Well, it's working and doing it's job. but i would like to ear from you as in DS i'm completely new.

all r4 cards are now clones m8 i have personally used both the r4 and the r4 upgrade and personally there is no difference

as for the quality side of thing that would depend on your supplier
