R4 no0b

Hi ,

I just got a R4 from the local market but it contains no disc for the firmware and everytime I download firmeware versions they never work ...... Any idea's as Im new to this .

You need to read a few tutorials mate.....i was in the same boat as you....Its too easy to ask for help.....

Yerz, it would be all too easy to ask for help had I not tried tutorials before coming here, as I know how to use google , so i thought id ask for help in a forum that wud specialise in this sort of thing ........all I get when i tried the above tutorial and others is a 'Loading....' screen

without actually setting my lads up i cannot remember how i did it.....have you tried some shop websites that actually sell them ?? They do sometimes provide good links to the software that you need to get going......honest mate it was so easy to do, and once i filled up my lads 2gb card i have never had to do anything else with it

whats it say on the card,any web address
