Having trouble with R4 Upgrade Revolution for DS

I have tried firmware from all sorts of websites, I've just found this website to try the firmware from here.

Barely any of the games will load no matter what firmware is used, R4 Official, R4 SDHC, R4i, R4 Upgrade and even the DSTT firmware using YSMenu. Only a few games will load, heck even Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story will load but almost 90% of the rest will not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only difference is ours have the url for r4i-sdhc.com below the brackets text.

Hi hypersonic. I have just joined this forum and do not have sufficient posts to contact via private messaging. I too have purchased the same R4 upgrade card and also having difficulty downloading the correct software, I am of the older generation, and have trouble understanding the latest terminology. I have also had YOUNG guys at work try to perform the downloads with NO success. Can you help please.

This is just a tought, but you card could be faulty.
I have had a number of them fail to load or be recogised by the ds or fail afterwards even after the games have been played with.
The games should only take a few seconds to load just make sure you have opened the file and copied only the game itself.

Yes maybe the 4GB microSDHC card is faulty, but I have had guys check my R4/usb reader out with their NDS and all appears ok. They seem to think its a software problem that they cannot download on these new R4 upgrade type?????

I too am having problems with a new ds card I recently purchased. now that Im down on a menu folder and the entire firmware which my daughter thought shed delete the flipping thing wont doesnt even start.

can some pls advise as too where I can download that firmware again pls.

Can you please be my saviour?? I have an r4i sdhc v1.4 card with a 4gb sd card for my sons nds lite. I AM GOING CRAZY and the laptop is in danger of going out of a window, as for the past two days I have tried fumbling my way around setting this thing up.
In the VERY SIMPLEST form could you please tell me, from scratch (with links if possible) what I need to do to get this thing to work (and my son to stop mithering me!!)
I am not very computer literate so won't be insulted by getting step by step instructions.

Trouble with R4i

goto w*w.R4i-sdhc.com and view the homepage for full english instructions on how to load the software & games onto the micro SD card. You can also browse the download section for more R4 software to try. Take your time and follow the insructions carefully. If you have a date fault when starting the DS Lite, remove the R4 chip, start the DS and change the year to 2006 then refit the R4.

wen a put ma r4 upgrade in2 ma ds-lite a red square with the word MENU appears on the top screen. can any1 tell me how to sort the prob.. also is it poss 2 use an 8gig with the upgrade or should a stick 2 the 4. please HELP.
