R4i-sdhc v1.4 & NDSi v1.4E???

Hi, I'm after a little help with my friends DSi & R4i. Both are brand new this christmas. The NDSi came with version 1.4E and the R4i SDHC is the new V1.4 red box version.

I have download the lateset firmware from R4i SDHC Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS (R4i English V1.14b) and extracted it. I've then copied everything to the sd card (16gb). When i load the DSi and selcect the 'Star Wars Lethal Alliance' icon, all i get is a black screen with white writing saying 'An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details.

Any ideas? Tried re-downloading the firmware incase it was corrupt, but stilll get the same message??

Did you format the micro SD card first? I presume you would have to as you do with the R4 card. I'm not saying that's the problem if you haven't but it could be.

Hi. Yes, tried that, in FAT and FAT32. Still no joy.

try using a diffrent sd card not a kingston1!!!!!!!!!

Tried 3. None are kingston. 2 are sandisk and one is unbranded

Just tried 1.13b firmware. Exactly the same. Think it my just be a faulty cart.

i got my kids one for chrimbo , and used R4i Gold and a 4gb sandisk card and done 3 with no problems dont know if this helps m8

UPDATE: I have tried the R4i V1.4 in a NDSL and it works no problems, and shows the v1.14b firmware. So the card is working. Just need to get it to work on the NDSi running v1.4E! ??

I dont know what to do having been trying to get it to work for days now with no joy. Any ideas

Same here. Just get the same error everytime i try to load it on the DSi. but it works fine on ds lite

Another thing I just found out. My brother has the exact same card I have. Except on the back of his, just above the gold contacts it says 'R4i-SDHC 5'. Mine says 'R4i-SDHC 6'. My sd card with the firmware i installed on it, works in his cartridge. His sd card and firmware still won't work in my cartridge.

Anybody found a solution to this R4i problem as I have been on it for days now and still keep getting Star Wars Lethal Alliance Ubisoft and a Menu sign on the screen.
