r4i trouble

Got my kids DSi for xmas. V1.4U

Got r4i gold card. Have tried many different kernels setups. When I load r4i into game console its shows a Danny Phantom game and when I start it just says "loading...." in the top screen forever.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
