    Another what card for DSi

    Hi guys, need some advice.

Got a nintendo dsi and I am now looking for a card to unlock the full potentional

Anyway, I was all set to buy a r4i but I have now seen threads where people are saying that these cards are no longer supported so may struggle with newer games.

I have also had a look at the Acekard 2i as well as the M3i zero but too be honest I am struggling as too what is the best / supported.

Is the M3i the dsi update of the M3 ds real?

I am not worried about the cost of the card, I would just like to get the best.

    Thanks

My daughter has a DSi which she updated to the 1.4e firmware. This meant she could no longer use her R4i (the earlier R4i-sdhc version). I tried loads of different things to get it to work, but the bottom line was that it wouldn't with the card I had.

I bit the bullet and bought an Acekard 2i and am happy to say it works (with a simple modicifiication) well with the DSi.

Not sure how it compares to others on the market, but with the R4i there are now over 25 different clones... some of which are rubbish.

Hi Burdock, thanks very much for the reply and confirming what I thought of the r4i.

Can you tell me about the modification that you had to do to the dsi?

      Thanks

Have had an acekard 2i now for about 6 months and it works fine, if your DSi is firmware version 1.4e, just google DSi acekard 1.4e and this will sort you out orI can post the file you need to update of required
