ok a few questions that i just want to confirm the answers to,
r4 card will do the ds and dsl
r4i will do the ds/dsl and dsi is this correct?
also do all cards take micro sd/sdhc?
and could anyone advise on the best and cheapest palce to get cards?

Depend on the Rr card. If it says sdhc takes both. When you order card you will get usb stick and mini sd card with it.
