R4 upgrade card no longer working

Turn on the DS lite and all that appears is a small red menu icon on the top screen. Any ideas as to what has happened as it was working fine before.

Definately the card as other game cartridges still work

i just bought my first r4 card and its not working....downloaded the software from the site i bought it on....any help appreciated as i have no idea what im doing!

Becareful where you buy them from there are fake R4 cards on the market, the fake cards can blow a Cap on the DS thus breaking it.

The more expencive the card the more likely its real, the ones for 9-15 qiud are usually the fake ones .

Its hard enough to tell the best of the time. Just be careful.
