could be a faulty card ... i had an r4 card ( original as i bought it from a reputable computer spares company ive used for years ) and it wouldnt work at all ... got 3 at the same time and only 1 was faulty

hello all, i had the same menu problem and now i've got the card to load but it now comes up with a long error but essentially reads "application halted!!
please refer [/moonshi2/logbuf.txt]

i would be grateful to those who can point me in the right direction!

Start again: format mem card ,re-install correct firmwares,add game.not a new one for test purpose use game u know works

Hi, I'm having the same problem as OP x.x although I haven't found a solution. I've tried like a dozen of different kernels/firmwares from different r4 sites but all of them doesn't work for me at all. I just end up getting a Menu? screen. *sigh* I'm sure I don't have a R4i since my card does not have the "i" on it but I don't know, I'll try the links listed in this thread after I gain some privileges xD

And I'm also starting to go crazy over this as well, I've spent almost a whole day figuring this out Q_Q;

EDIT: Okay so I've downloaded R4i English V1.12b and it worked but now I just get the forever loading sign =w =; ...now what? ><
EDIT2: Downloaded R4i English V1.20b and it works!!! Yay! Well I haven't really tried it out yet but hopefully I don't run into any more trouble...

Iv got the same problem I have a games engine R4 SDHC

Am going to try downloading 1.14 and seeing if it works... (have to post to activate download privileges).

I have downloaded everything and nothing works yet Do i need to un zip files first or save them directly onto r4 and do i need to down load a game first.

I am a complete novice at this so I may have downloaded the wrong things anway

Just try the 1.20b I uploaded to downloads,unzip it then copy the/all folders etc... to root of card overwriting any files

Thing is, with the R4/R4i cards there are many clones. So if you not sure what 1 to use you will have to try them all.

For those with this card
R4i SDHC Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS
Instal the firmware, if you get the menu, but the roms fail to load, try changing the date on the DSI main menu (not within the DSI card) This should cure it.

ok i need help have had this card for 1 1/2 years it has kernel 1.18 i have just download 4 new games for it but only 1 works the others are coming up untitled i just done another game but that is coming up untitled to any idea's what i can do to play these new games a friend has a dsi he put all the games on his one and they all work help please daughter moaning for new game's her friends are playing

why not just copy his firmware???
