r4i sdhc campat with dsi xl

hi there just got my misses the new dsi xl and also the 4di sdhc card with 16 gb kingston card . the r4 cards doesnt have the v1.4 star on it but did say it was compat but when i put the new 1.17 fimware on it all we got was error please press power button to restart i would be great ful if some one could give me a answer to this .... many thanks

yea I got the same problem as shrek1996, except i have a 4gb r4i card that worked totally fine on my old DSi. isit firmware update for the r4i to work on the DSi XL?

Simple Answer unlikely r4 card will work in the future (A new cartridge on the way) & it might even change for the current NDS http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...design-100127/

Wrong,just get an AceKard 2i and dump the R4 if your using the dsi XL,if you card is without the 1.4 compat sticker your goosed.

I'm going to give this a go on my DSiXL.

Paid for an R4i SDHC 1.4.1 and got the not 1.4.1 version. (Just has upgrade on it).

Disappointing.
