watching movies on a ds ?

i have had an r4 card for a ds lite for quite sometime, well my my kids have honestly , and there was a lot of talk about watching movies on them, can anyone push me in the right direction for a guide on how to do this ? any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need to put moonshell on your microsd card, then search for movies .dpg format. have a read here and here.

quality mate thankyou, you know the moonshell is it normally with the firmware when you download it if thats the case i have already put it on thinking it was part of the firmware.

hi managed to convert a film but i think i must of done something wrong as it only plays the writing at the begining of the film then as the film gos to start it then replays the writing over and over again, do you know of anywhere i can download films in dpg format ?

loads on there, just type .dpg into there search bar
