R4i cards

Is there an easy way to play his old DS Lite roms on this console, I have ordered an R4i card but cannot find the firmware/os anywhere to d/l. Well I can find different versions but I'm unsure which 1 to get.

Any ideas folks?

which games you havin problems with?

All the firmware won't even load. I have tried the .nds files on the root of the card and in a folder called games.
I get a red square with a ? and menu below it and have to turn the DSI XL off.
I have also tried 4 different versions of the firmware, had no probs with the ds lite.

you need to know what version firmware your dsi is running, version 1.4E, causes problems with acecards and has to be patched.
first thing to do is back up your microsd card, then reformat it .(fat32)
check your card, there will be a web address printed on it, this should give you a link to your latest firmware, there are alot of diffrent version cards.

Ihave used v1.24 and it starts to load and then I get a message saying "Fake card please return to retailer".

Any ideas folks.
