r4i gold problem with dsi

Hello all

very new to this so please be patient with me.
my son has a dsi just 2 months old, i have purchased an r4i gold from www. r4i gold - eu, I have down loaded and unzipped the firmware from the website and drageed it onto the 4gig sd card, however the card will not work in his dsi, I have tried it in his ds lite and get the star wars logo thingy but still can't get any games to play, any suggestions or help will be gratefully recieved. incidently I have emailed the company who sold the card but as of yet they have not got back to me, could i have bought a fake.

r4i gold not recognised

Hi All
Bit unusual to respond to my own post but thought it best way of letting anyone else having same problem that I have found a solution. If you take the plastic package that the r4 came in and cut it into the same shape as the r4 card and insert it behind the r4 card then th ds will recognise the card. hope this helps

Lots of these type of cards are fakes I'm trying to get mine working again r4i v1.4 card as software stopped working just have to search the forums and try different software
