R4 firmware issue

Hi im after help on a R4 card please i already have one have had no problems finding firmware and using. Just got one for my girlfriend Which is a R4 SDHC Upgrade with games engine and it is driving me foolish i think i have tried most if not all versions of the firmware with varied faults leaving me with loading screens etc can any one point me in the right directon. Her birthday is wed so i would apreciate the help

Many thanks for your help your link failed there web site must be down how ever i did search for wood R4 firmware. How ever trying the list from ver 1.11 down to 1.04 and each time i still get a red out line of a SD card with ? Menu in it any other suggestions would be appreciated

use version 1.11
what size of sd card are you using? dont use anything bigger than 2gig.
dont use sdhc card
backup your sdhc card, then reformat it, then add firmware and games

Yep thats pretty much what i did when i searched for wood firmware begin to think this is a dud card to be honest like i say i have never had problems using them up until now i will get down the computer fair and get one rather than online and il go out and check it in the car to make sure it works before i go home its anoid me that never mind thanks for your time sorry to have hassled you

help please - DSI - new firmware will not work ??

no games are working
i have downloaded the woods firmware and have put the two folders on there

__rpg and _DS_MENU.DAT folders on

the rpg i have put on as a complete folder is that ok ??

or do i just put the contents in that folder on the dsi ??

m8, r4 cards do not work on dsi's.
they only work on ds/ dslite...
you need to but a new kart.....

they do work mate as i am useing one now , the problem i have is that i have the new shrek and toy story games and they will not work, and i read to get these games to work you need the latest software..

r4 and r4i's are totally diffrent m8...
woods firmware doesnt work on r4i's.
there are loads of diffrent version r4i cards with loads of diffrent firmwares.
what exactly does it say on the front of your card?
have a read through this thread
cunny has posted a link to a great site which lists all r4/r4i firmwares.
trouble is getting the right one for your card....

hi mate downloaded it do i just put the folder on my card after i unrar it ? or do i open the folder then put whats in the folder on the dsi.

i put the folder on and when i turned the dsi on it just comes up with a red memory card with a lock on it and underneath the memory card it sais menu with a question mark .

help please

what am i doing wrong ??
