Fixing broken hinge and top screen on ds

How hard is this to fix? is it a question of opening up ds and looking for any loose conections to screen or does it need a replacement screen lid /hinge or what? or could i "doctor" it? btw it is ds lite

if the hinge is broken, then you need to replace the case.
its very easy to do, but may take you a while to do your first one.
you can replace top screen at same time.

cases and screens are cheap as ~~~~ from from ebay...
you will also need a tri-wing screw driver
