    r4 card hates me :(

So I've been spending the past few days working with the "r4 upgrade" card..which we all know is a clone...so i've been trying ANYTHING I can find...

    I'm using a DS lite..it's red

I've mostly only had the Red box with Menu? Or Error.....

I stumbled upon this link on these forums

    >>I've uploaded my working R4i English V1.14b in the d/l section.Hope this gets you going..Digital Kaos - Downloads - R4i English V1.14b for R4 SDHC Upgrade <<

And this gives me a whole NEW error (though I consider it a step up)

Now I get a screen that says "www.r4i-sdhc.com" (in blue)

    and then "Loading.... "beneath it

and then "system error! Check NDS system date."

However my NDS date IS the correct date and time!

Am I a mere step away from making this work!? or still screwed.....

What sucks the most is that I do have an original R4 card so you can imagine how frustrating it is to have a fake one that I ordered from the SAME website and now it won't work....rararrrr

    help please

m8, change your date back to anywhere in 2009, and it will work...

right, your firmwares probably needs updating...

what i want you to do.

                            1. create a folder on your pc and copy your entire contents into it. (backup sd card)

                            2. reformat your sd card (my computer, removable device right click, then hit reformat fat32)

                            3. download firmware from here and copy all the files/folders to your sd card

                            4. add games and let me know how you get on...

i can't be 100% sure this is your correct firmware, so be sure to back up your card before reformatting....

Ok So I'm on a Mac, so it's not as easy I don't think...

Disk utility only gives me the option for FAT, so I'll try that...or should I try it on the Windows side to make it FAT32 for sure?
