Hi there. What software do I need to install on my micro SD to get it to play downloaded games on my R4i card?

sorry the link above is access denied, my R4i v1.4 upgrade revolution for DS has been working fine but not anymore i have tried about five different firmwares/softwares today but still getting a red outlined memory card on top screen of DSi, my DSi is on VER 1.3 please help. also the downloads section is access denied at work.

m8, copy everything from your sd card to pc.
then reformat sd card
then copy files back

did you back up the files on your sd card before you started putting new firmware on?
if not , then you will have to hunt fore the correct firmware

m8, there is nothing wrong with the link....

all firmwares are posted on it....
your in luck... woods firmware has been released for r4i cards....

i THINK it will work on yours.... (but not 100% sure). give it a try...

if it does work, then you have won a watch...
every game will work with it...

hi m8 but the problem is my r4i gold firmware is v1.4 and not v1.4.1.pls advice

1.4.1 is the firmware that the console is running.
this is new firmware that blocked flashcarts...
new r4i cards are suposed to work on this version dsi now,
but to the best of my knowledge there is no patch for the the flashcarts which were blocked...

If I could m8, 1 question, 1.4.1e fw Dsi XL, your saying the r4i still works with this, as I was going to get 1 for my neice. Her dad, the big dope updated to 1.4.1 online, so was just wondering if I could still use r4i.

some do and some don't m8...
there is no patch for them (as fr as i know), but newer ones have been updated to overcome this.

to be safe buy an acecard2i.
they have a fully upgradable kernal, which means whenever ninty update the dsi firmware (and ive seen mentioned somewhere that 1.4.2 is waiting in the wings) the good peeps at acecard hq can release a patch which gets round the problem....

if you dont mind waiting, you can get one delivered for under a tenner from here.
be warned though.. delivery will take best part of threre weeks

Hi all, soon will be my daughter birthday and I am thinking to buy her a new dsi.....because I am a total newbie I have been reading a few post on the dsi and I am wondering if someone could tell what I do need to do.... an AceKard 2i AK2i SDHC Multimedia MicroSD/TF Cart for NDS and NDS Lite (Compact Edition) from the link above and what else do I need please?
Software, micro sd cards?what is the size of the micro sd? Please can anyone point me in the right direction what I need to buy and what to do.many thanks

hi I am trying to access my r4i card on the pc to create a backup copy and to add more files however it's asking me to reformat the card. Can anyone offer me some tips on how to access the card without reformatting?
