mmm, strange...
when you delete the old fimrware you need to put the 1.8.5 firmware on first, then copy/replace the 1.8.5a over it.

if you just put the 1.8.5a on it doesnt work, it seems to only overwrite somes files on it

Still having problems

I'm just super confused with this super easy process. I think I add 1.8.5a but it wont work. For the new games they freeze on the "Loading" screen

change your theme to Asv.Evor.
press start, system options, interface theme.

on the top screen it will say akaio release xxxx.
check that it is 1.8.5

if it is on 1.8.5 then post the games you are having problems with.

The game that isn't working is Professor Layton and the unwound future, but it also wont work for the Pokemon black (J). So my guess is newer games wont load

i rememebr the prof layton game very well.
its not a new game, but no flashcarts would play it when it came out.
i think there is loads of roms out there patched for diffrent cards.
with acecards, it is always best to use a clean rom....

i have tested this one on my acecard with 1.8.5a firmware and played it for a while with no problems.....

i would grab it pretty quick, everytime i upload a rom, the ~~~~ers delete it.......

if it works let me know and i will find the pokemon game for you....
is the region important on the pokemon game or will any english language rom do?

The professor Layton I got was from an N5 card so the rom ended with .nd5 , I just changed that extension to .nds to make it work
