dr who evacuation earth definatley works on acecard2i running akaio fimrware version 1.8.5a.

make sure your acrcard is up to date, if problem persists, try sourcing a rom from a diffrrent location.

I have gotten the roms from a variety of different location and the all end up with the same result. Now I just trying different roms and some just wont work. I don't know what is wrong that my acekard is being retarded!

tell u what, i'll make it easy for you...

back up and format your sd card.
use a proper formatting tool to format sd card.

now download this file and extract directly onto your sd card.
akaio 1.8.5a.rar


if you have done this correctly, then your sd card should one folder called _aio and one file called akmenu on it.
there should be nuthin else on your card.

add some games.
make sure the game file is unzipped and has file extension .nds

acecards are designed to work with clean or unpatched roms.
roms patched for r4i cards etc may not work.

if you still have problems , post back a list of problem games.

hi there, i'm pretty new to all this kinda stuff and only really managed to origionally get my acekard2i up and running after hours upon hours of trial an error,i was previously running another firmware i was directed to when i first bought my son his dsi xl running version 1.4 in april last year, thing is a few of the games are now crashing, do you thing it would help if i formated the sd card and replaced it with this?
also should i do a system update in dsi xl beforehand or will this prevent it from working?

Never ever !ever! do a system update!!

Back up your card first! So you can go back if needed.
Then format card and put the files from the akiou 1.8.5 on first ,then put the files from 1.8.5a on and let it overwrite,then simply add the games and the .sav(save game)files if you want them...

Have tried this but still says akaio 1,8.5 on it and have overwritten with other folders.
Any ideas as i cant get professor Layton to work.
