acecard 2i help

hope some one cam help me here i have got my dughter the dsi xl for xmas i got the acecard 2i with 8gb micro sd problem is i didnt buy the loader but i have got a ds lite that i use a fire card on (with no problems at all)so i need to know can i use the ds lite as a loader just as if i was putting roms on the fire card

loader?, not sure what you mean.

all you have to do is put your microsd card into either a sd adaptor or usb adaptor,
which ever way you can connect it to pc.
then add firmware and games.

akiou 1.81 is the best firmware for your card

Hi mate,
Just got my acekard 2i's, do the games go directly on to the root of the card aswell, or do I set it up like the R4 where I used to create a 'Games folder?
Also, should i connect the dsi to network and make sure its software is up to date before i insert card?

you can put them in a flder if you want, i just put them on root of sd card.
your card should be ok to play on dsi 1.4.1.
if it is not you will need access to a ds or dsi running older firmare to update.
what version dsi have you got?

Didnt even turn on the new dsi yet, in storage for Xmas, will poke it out over next day or two and will check out what s/w version is on it!

Hi mate,
S/w version is1.4E on DSi's,i used the akiou 1.81 firmware,but had to update the card using a standard DS and update file.
Checked only a couple of games but they all worked fine!
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction and google did the rest!
