Broken DS Touchscreen

Hi
I have been a numpty and broken my daughters DS touch screen.
i was having a play because it would not calibrate.
i took the touchscreen part off the LCD screen by peeling it off, but i then dropped a qtip on the lcd leaving fur all over it.
long and short, there is now no stickiness on the LCD for the touchscreen to stick back onto.
what are my options here? can you buy a replacement lcd screen and if so how do you put the touchscreen back on - doe it come pre-glued? is the touchscreen part not meant to come away from the LCD?
i'm thinking i should buy a faulty DS (with good ts) and swap out both bits, but this seems a bit pricey!!

you can buy replacement touchscreen from ebay.

there is also penty of tuturial vids on youtube to help you

Hmmm, thanks for that helpful post pollito. hope you can download what you need.
barrowman, these tuts are all for the DS lite, which is a different screen. My problem is around the glue that sticks the touchscreen part to the LCD screen part. both the screens work, but how can i stick them together? the original glue came off when i dropped a qtip on it!!
if i but a new one (ts or lcd) does it come preglued - the ones on ebay make no mention of it...

they come pre glued m8,
you peel a film of the back of it and stick it on.

you could try double sided tape, if it distorts the screen image, then just take it off again....
no harm in trying....

that would be "see through" double sided tape i'm guessing
