    simple answer m8,
don't buy an r4 card, there a pain in the a**e.

    buy an acecard

plays everthing/well supported without the headache of trying to track down correct firmware..

delivery takes 3 weeks from that site
    but for under a tenner!!!
    money well spent......

All r4's are clones the original makers where closed down by nintendo a few years back so every r4 out there is some form of clone. However they can still do the job.I use acekard with akaio 1.8.1 on dsi xl.If its only to use on the ds or ds lite buy yourself an r4 revolution card from the same site as above for ?2.65 free p&p and put the latest version of R4WOOD on it and it will do exactly the same job
