just to double check everything has been done right.

1. you are using a 2gig or smaller sd card.

2. you have formatted sd card to fat32.

3. on the root of your sd card you have 2 items:
a. a folder called _rpg.
B. a file called DS.MENU.NDS

is all this correct?

thanx m8 after i tried putting it on card it just froze on loading screen,so i read abit on here and went and downloaded a program to format the sd card and then put it back on and bingo i am now the best dad in the world ,thanx to u and dk who have dun nothing but help me with a number of things,AAA++++++++++++

golden rule .
awlays format your sd card!!! ....

that is the latest firmware for your card.
it was last updated about 5 months ago,
that means game less thean 5 month old probably wont work.....

now your card is working, you should make a backup....
just incase summit goes wrong...

i did format it with pc but it never worked.got a program called sdfv2000,formated it with that then it worked,thanx 4 ye help

no, if you have woods already on your card, then copy and replace,
if not then delete old firmware and put new one on.

Hi i've got a ds lite with R4i and 4gb sd. Lego Harry Potter won't work on this so after reading up it seems i need woods r4. So do i just delete old firmware after backing up and install the woods version leaving my other games on there. I've read i then need to disable reset in order for this Harry Potter game to work. If so how will this affect my other games. I've also read i need to rename my .sav files with .nds.sav for the woods firmware is this also correct. Sorry if that seems a lot but any help would be great as my son is only 9 but he's very big and strong.
