New acekard 2i - which firmware to use

Just purchased a new acerkard 2i for DSi.

Please let me know which firmware is the best to use. I see that there is the akiou 1.8.1 and acekard patch for dsi verison 1.4.1.

Do I need to install firmware then patch?

I am new to all of this and any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, what about the patch, should i add the to micro sd as well?

Get the firmware from the acekard site and extract to root of your sd card,then get AKAIO 1.8.1 and overwrite the acekard firmware and your good to go.

If the firmware on your dsi is 1.4 or lower no need to patch,just download AKAIO 1.8.1 put it on to the micro sd card.If its 1.4.1 your gonna need a dsl/dsi with 1.4 or lower to do the update.

Also when your up and running turn on the anti-piracy feature so you can play all the new games.You can find this by;

Switch dsi on
Hit start
System Options
Press R1 to switch pages(think its 3 times)
Bottom of list "anti piracy" should say disabled enable it and save and "bobs your mums brother"
