R4i REvolution chrismas version limited gold - HELP!!!

Hi Folks,

My sis has this card for her kids DSi. It has stopped working but the mem card looks ok with the roms etc all in place.

When I turn on the DSi I can see Star Wars Lethal Alliance Ubisoft icon but when selecting it I see the following messaged

"An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details."

The Dsi has V1.4.1E as the firmware version so I'm guessing the card needs updating. I've tried a couple of firmwares that I've found on the net but nothing seems to work.

Any advice you guys can give me on what firmware I need?

some cards were blocked by the 1.4.1 update.
did the dsi get updated to 1.4.1 just before card stopped working?

Hi Mate,

Sis doesn't know for sure, but I would reckon so as it came to me with the update already in place and the kids have had the DSi since last xmas.

I've been through lots of firmwares that I can find and nowt seems to work, Mem card looks ok as I've formatted it ok, retried numerous occasions now without success.

try and get hold of a dslite and see if it works in that

Ahh , I have the same thing , only mine is green with V 1.6 on top and I have the same error , i am trying alot of firmwares now , please tell me if yours is fixed.

which ersion firmware is your dsi running.

the cards marked 1.6 are not copmpatable with firmware 1.4.1

I am not sure , I just got it and just updated it now it cannot be used the R4i that

well if you've updated it, it will be on 1.4.1.

you need to get a new card m8....

put the akaio firmware on and they play everthing.....

on this side on the world it is rather hard to get other cards , sighhhh, I guess I will add that to my shopping list tomorrow ... T_T

Now the issue is , i updated the DSi itself even after getting the card , will it be okay?
