dsi white screen

Hi
can anyone help,my little girl was playing her dsi,switched it off to charge it,but when she switched back on the is a double blanck white screen,it was an original card she was using before and after switching it off/on.theres been no new card added so do think its a firmware issue.
i came across this youtube video and this is exactly what it is doing.

take memory card out of cartridge a and put back in,also what cartridge u using?

use r4,but not used it for a while she was using an original card.

R4 original won't work in a dsi you would need a different cartridge such as an Acekard 2i,is the White screen there all the time now even after turning off on etc...

yes white screen is there all the time,exactly the same as in the video.the ds has been working for a year,on original ds cards and the r4,it not been updated in that time and the r4 has not been used for a while,so its not the card or firmware.
