acekard 2i sd card problem?

    acekard 2i sd card problem?

    Hi,
    I have a acekard 2i with a sandisk 2gb memory card and everything works as it should.
    I just bought a generic 4gb sd card, formated it using the official sd format tool, put on the latest 1.8.1 fresh downloaded firmware, made a games folder and copied the same games I have on the 2gb card which I have saved on my desktop.

    None of the game icons show up except for 2 games and only one of those 2 play, the rest all try to load but I get a white screen.

    as this acekard works perfect with the 2gb card and as I did everything fresh on the new 4gb the same as I did on the old card I can only think it's the sd card, any thoughts on this before I go buy another 4gb card, this time sandisk.

      Think You need earlier akiou1.4? fw on before the newer 1.8.1

              You can't play akiou 1.8.1.fw without the earlier version firmware on its own me thinks

                  What Console have you got ?
                  What f/w version is it ?
                  What games are you trying to play ?

                      Thx for your replies but just in case anybody missed it.

                      I can play any game using the 2gb sandisk card, this card incidently was formatted by myself and 1.8.1 installed and then the games and everything works perfect.

                      I did EXACTLY the same with the 4gb card and the SAME games but I get blank icons where the games should be and the games won't load, just a white screen.

                      I've tried reformating and going over the procedure numerous times.

                          Try copying/n pasting the files off the 2gb card direct to the 4gb

                              Still the same, did get one game to work though, it's game icon was also visible where as all the others where greyed out icons, looks like it could be the SD card at fault although it's working with the odd game.
