Do you mean the update firmware,and what version r4i card...2.0 is not compatable

i have a brand new card and brand new dsi with 1.4e firmware, the r4i gold is a 1.4 gold upgrade not version 2 with the mario picture on the front all i can get is the white screen after clicking on the star wars icon

Two reasons for this, one you have a bad card, the other is you have not put the right software on the card, or have not put it on right, did the software come with the card or did you download it yourself.
